Formerly known as Marionette, Repression tells the story of a therapist played by Thekla Reuten (Red Sparrow), who loses her grip on reality when a 10-year-old boy claims he can control her future. The trailer is out now, ahead of its release on September 28th 2020.
Directed by Elbert Van Strien – Peter Mullan (Tyrannosaur, Ozark), Emun Elliott (Prometheus, Tell It to the Bees), Rebecca Front (The Thick Of It), Sam Hazeldine (The Hitman’s Bodyguard) and veteran character actor Bill Paterson (The Man Who Invented Christmas) also star.
