Hi,Saw Outpost last night and was very impressed. Thought it had the courage of its own genre convictions and it delivered as a tough, suitably gory if ultimately rather bleak shock-horror. Above all, it looked terrific with production values worthy of something more than what I suspect was a fairly
micro-budget. Incidentally, I assume that impressive b/w newsreel-type wartime footage was all specially done for the film.
I will do a photo-feature in the next EXPOSURE although the issue will be out a bit after the film’s projected release date. Still, a DVD release is bound to follow sooner rather than later which will make any article still timely.
